Barry Rutizer

Background & Experience

Barry Rutizer is a 35-year veteran in the thought leadership field. In his work with The Economist Intelligence Unit (EIU) and Oxford Economics, Barry has led B2B business development around the world. He has successfully developed and managed key accounts in the corporate, banking and government sectors, including GE, IBM, Citigroup, Putnam, Bank of America, PwC, Accenture, EY, Deloitte, the Federal Reserve, and World Bank.

Barry has a diverse research and editorial background.  He was instrumental in creating integrated thought leadership on such varied topics as global electronic banking, cash management, technology, talent, sustainability and public policy. He also co-authored Global Cash Management with Lou Celi.

Together with Lou, Barry helped build the Americas business for Oxford Economics. Before joining Oxford Economics, Barry worked in both sales and editorial for the EIU, helping to launch the EIU’s electronic publishing and thought leadership services. He has a Bachelor of Arts from Wesleyan University and an M.Phil from the University of Virginia.
